Used cars are better when brought locally
Used cars are better when brought locally
A survey has just been released detailing the buying tendancies of the public in the UK with regards to used cars (second hand motors.) The survey asked a small group of 20000 car buyers how far they travelled to buy their vehicle (this survey was based on used cars), whether the travel was worth the saving and how they would choose to buy next time.
The overall concesus of the participants was that buying a car as locally as possible, where possible is the better way to get a used car. The survey covered West wales and mid England and was carried out by a third party organisation. The results show that travelling up to 10 miles to buy a 2nd hand car was optimum. It was also noted that long distance advertisements were actually counter intuitive to a quick successful sale. A great point to keep it all local, saving money time effort and the environment – relatively speaking if you intend to buy a used car – buy it locally!
