Trawling the Car Web

It is a right annoyance. I have been searching the web high and low attempting to procure a decent quality used car in wales. Its almost like there is no such thing and I am chasing a crazy unrealistic car. I do live in carmarthenshire so, typically I start with an open ended search for a phrase like used cars carmarthenshire, which usually results in a few cool local sites but they haven’t as of yet had my favourite car on there - a vauxhall cavalier. They should have a load because the car was the most popular car of its time and sold infinately well. But then perhaps not many made it to wales? Would the awful welsh weather be something to do with it - perhaps they are just all rust buckets now.

Its not like I was searching for a Ferrari is it, that red stallion is something I certainly cant afford. So in the end I am left trawling the car web searching for a decent vauxhall for sale. I also checked a car/motoring site that had cars ceredigion in the name, even though it turned out to be a pretty awesome site it did not have a decent cavalier on it (had 2 but people were wanting to much cash for a car like that.) Suppose I will just settle for a better car then…

Motor Trade - Ceredigion

Motoring in ceredigion is a great joy, you can spend hours driving around taking in the welsh scenery, but running a motor related business in west wales can be difficult. Less people means less cars which means a sometimes slow trade, but getting a good motor trade website is critical when your trade is so spread out. So Make sure if you are running a small motor or car selling firm in west wales, ceredigion or any similar rural areas that you don’t forget a car selling website is a great tool to get more business and secure more car sales.

Better UK Motoring

If your like me and live within ceredigion and drive a car you are likely to have had to deal with some winter motoring ice, covering your car, hiding on the roads as black ice - its a treacherous job driving. But theres a few used cars ceredigion tricks that will help you with motoring in ceredigion in the winter. 1. Wrap up warm - knowone likes being cold while driving - if your car takes a while to warm up then you should wear your coat or 2. warm your car up 10 minutes before you need to start driving. In ceredigion its a good idea to let your car run for a bit to warm up before taking on the icy west wales roads.

Motoring in Ceredigion

I have owned a motor ceredigion for over 40 years. In fact I have had over 20 cars in that time, a large number by anyone’s counting. I have had bmw’s, audi’s, 1 mercedes benz, a mini cooper, a van - even an MG at one point. In all this time though of driving motors in ceredigion I have never once come across such awful roads as I did today in dorset. The roads are apalling - I never realised welsh roads were so well maintained!!

This one pot hole nearly swallowed my whole wheel - and this is a seven series bmw so that is a lot of wheel! I suppose in the long run to maintain my motors I should just stay in ceredigion - I mean its got nearly everything you need a drive a way - and we all love driving don’t we!!!

Finding a great deal on autos in wales

Typically it can be troublesome hunting down a nice motor in west wales. You might have to go to 20 used car garage in west wales before you find something you are interested in. Eventually it is true you will usually find a good source of quality cars, but when your in a small rural community it can take a lot longer to do so than it should.

Personally I use the web firstly to find what I am going to drive to see but then also to contact the seller. Aber Car Sales in Aberystwyth is prime example of how well this works. I was looking for a used Peugeot within ceredigion and had checked out about 10 different garages online, they all had OK websites but nothing special, I had called them up but they did not have their stocklists online or a pug in stock. Needless to say I found great used cars in aberystywth through aber car sales, they really helped and actually found me a car! very good service.

Getting a quality Flat roof done!

I have recently had my flat roof refelted - which after some consideration seemed like the best thing to do - I found a great company offering flat roofing in west wales. They appeared smart, punctual and worked hard leaving me with a great end result. It worked out as costing £50 per square meter of my flat roof to be re-felted but It was well worth it because now it doesnt leak at all, it even appears to be helping the new insulation we put in just before.

In the end its not worth putting up with leaks, broken windows and stuff like that in my mind - Id rather just get my roof fixed by a professional and be done with it.  Don’t bother trying to get services like construction and roofing done on the cheap - its not worth the hassle - cowboys are not cool when it comes to construction!

Recommended Car Sales - Wales

Just a quick one - I used Aber Car Sales today when I was looking for a good quality used car near aberystwyth (Clarach to be precise). The service was excellent and the cars were of a great standard. I tried several different used cars including a used renault, second hand rover, a used benz and a great preowned citreon. They really had a good range and would be worth a drive to if you are situated in west wales (ceredigion.)

They are easy to find, just type thier postcode into google maps, local used cars were always a pain for me because I had to drive miles or pay extortionate local dealers prices - I tend to not opt for private sellers because I have had bad experiences with a used bmw that lasted 3 years then exploded!

So thats pretty much It I suppose - If you are looking for a good honest quality used car dealer near aberystwyth west wales then definatly check out Aber Car Sales!

have you go a damaged repairable vauxhall for sale?

Finding a breaker for a damaged repairable vauxhall vectra has been a struggle. Mainly because I am after a whole left wing - which seems to always get pelted on vauxhall vectras.

So I am now using the internet to seek a vauxhall damaged repairable vectra. I will visit a salvage or car dismantler within 40 miles of Cardiff. I need the parts because my wife idly scraped along a very harsh wall and as a result took half the car off and left it in lampeter. I would also like to find a panel beater that works around lampeter to fit the new bodywork (provided I find a damaged repairable car for sale locally.) So if you know of a mechanic/panel beater within a few miles please contact me on 08000 890 317. Much abliged!!

Tractors Wales

For years tractors have been improving, with hugely more efficient engines being produced year in year out. This creates a similar deficit of second hand tractors in the available market. In wale’s tractor and plant garages are almost as common as car garages and car dealerships. You might drive down the road and see a renault dealership with loads of used renault espace’s, modus’s etc. then carrying on you may see a honda garage with 10 odd honda civic’s from the last decade littering the front car lot.

Then chances are you will see a plant hire/ used tractor / trailer seller - they are common place. Just an observation but the sheer amount of tractor sellers is staggering. Let it never be said farming is dead!

Personally I like the Ford 4000’s - they are great tractors that last well - good solid diesel engines  that will plough push and pull thier way through the years like pigs in mud.

Electric cars for sale in uk

Electric cars are a bit like marmite. People either love the idea or hate the fact that they are so sensible. In reality humanity has come a long way with cars, the combustion engine has provided us with the ability to progress at the speed we have.

It was the real progression from the steam engines (burrell traction engine) to modern day. Diesel has hitch-hiked along but really without petrol combustion engines we wouldn’t be as developed as we are today.

Inevitable progression has perhaps come to its end - but should we all really just hand over the keys to our gas guzzling cars yet? there isn’t a viable electric car for my situation - that would do 300 miles in a day on a motorway comfortably without needing new batterys or a recharge. Yes I have to stop to refuel my car, yes my car burns fossil fuels. But it works, and allows me to work in turn. So for me an electric car may not be such a viable mode of transport.

However for your 30 mile a day maximum journeys, I don’t knock it. Its ideal - charge it up at night and drive slowly everywhere - sorted!
