You must decide just what your poker playing limit is.
The term of playing limit has nothing to do with the term of bankroll. Your playing limit is simply the amount of money you would feel comfortable playing. No one can be indifferent when playing his own money and therefore they cannot remain calm when it comes to losing them. Therefore, don’t use all your saving or paycheck to play online poker. This is not good for two reasons:
1. If you lose, you will have a bad memory of the game that left you with no money at all, when it is in fact your fault for not being responsible and for not thinking through your actions.
2. You will lose! Think about this one for a while. You will most certainly lose because your game will be affected by the constant frustration that arises from your worries for your money.
So, avoid these situations by playing an amount you wouldn’t care about. Just think of it as if it was an expense to buy a game, and now you are playing that game you paid for. This way the worries can be ignored and your playing style can really become what it needs to.
If you have a normal profession or one more basis of profits, then the above strategy should suit your case. But when you plan to play poker for an income, then stuff gets difficult. A professional poker player has no source but his bankroll. The bankroll has at all times to remain intact so it can generate income.
When you play poker your income will fluctuate. If you are a wealthy person and don’t care about money because you already have too many, then fluctuation don’t mean a thing. But if poker is your only source of income, then keep the bankroll intact only as long as you don’t need it. When you have to pay the bills, you will remove that amount from your bankroll. It is a bad thing and it means you didn’t know your limits. Your initial bankroll will become smaller and smaller not because of poker, but because you wanted to rely on an amount of money you did not actually had to spend.
A professional poker player has learned his limits by now. He knows exactly how much he is playing, and he knows how much he should leave at the online casino and how much to put in a bank or invest in the stock market after a win. There is no need to increase a good playing limit that has been tested. Every time we go above it, we can redraw the exceeding money and leave this way the bankroll intact while making an income.

Grimsby Town are the new leaders of League Two after beating
Boston United 1-0 at Blundell Park. Michael Reddy’s goal after
72 minutes was enough to secure the Mariners’ second win in a
row at odds of 9/10.
Last week’s leaders Carlisle United were held to a tense
goalless draw at promotion rivals Leyton Orient. Draw backers
could have got on at 23/10 with Carlisle now two points behind
Grimsby.
Third placed Wycombe Wanderers fought back from two goals down
at home to draw 2-2 with relegation strugglers Mansfield Town.
Jon Olav-Hjelde and Richie Barker put the Stags 2-0 ahead after
33 minutes, but goals from Tommy Mooney and Stefan Oakes denied
an unlikely 9/2 away victory.
Northampton Town squandered the chance to move in to the top
three by losing 3-1 at Cheltenham Town. Steve Guinan, Kayode
Odejayi and JJ Melligan ensured a home win at 6/4.
Rushden & Diamonds refuse to go down without a fight and Petr
Miklonda’s 30 yard strike gave them all three points against
Notts County. Barry Hunter’s side, 8/5 on the day, have lost
just one of their last five games.
Bottom club Stockport County also earned a vital win at
faltering Chester City. Liam Dickinson broke the deadlock for
County after 76 minutes but Ryan Lowe equalised for City five
minutes later. With the match heading for a draw Dickinson
grabbed the vital 5/2 winner a minute from time to keep the
Hatters just one point from safety.
Meanwhile, Torquay United remain in deep trouble after losing
2-0 at Lincoln City. Scott Kerr after 12 minutes and a last
minute goal from Jeff Hughes secured a 5/6 win for the Imps.
Macclesfield Town vs Wrexham, Rochdale vs Barnet and Bury vs
Oxford were all called off due to frozen pitches.

Blackjack Basic Strategy is quite simple to learn and will decrease the house’s advantage to less than 1% over the long run. What follows is an introduction to Basic Strategy that will take the beginner only a few days to master.
Practicing Basic Strategy consists of hitting, standing, doubling down, or splitting based on just two factors. Those two factors are:
1. The 2 Cards You are Dealt
2. The Dealer’s Up Card
In any game of Blackjack there are only about 250 combinations that you can encounter. 250 combinations sound almost impossible to learn, however, the use of a graphical chart makes it a lot easier. I learned using a chart (the one that can be found in the resource section of this article). However, a chart is not necessary. Below is a list of the most common combinations you will find, along with the proper action to take.
1. If your 2 cards added together equal between 5 and 8, you should always hit.
2. If your 2 cards added together equal 9, you should always hit, unless the dealer’s up card is a 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7 in which case you would double down.
3. If your 2 cards added together equal 10, you should always double down, unless the dealer’s up card is a 10 or an Ace, in which case you should hit.
4. If your 2 cards added together equal 11, you should always double down, unless the dealer’s up card is an Ace, in which case you should hit.
5. If your 2 cards added together equal 12, you should always hit, unless the dealer’s up card is a 4, 5, or 6, in which case you should stand.
6. If your 2 cards added together equal 13, 14, 15, or 16, you should always hit, unless the dealer’s up card is a 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6, in which case you should stand.
7. If your 2 cards added together equal 17 or greater you should always stand.
Those rules may seem confusing at first, but stick with them and they will prove to be very effective. I always recommend to my students that they use the same chart I learned with (the one that can be found in the resource section of this article) if they want to make the process quicker and easier.
In addition to the above rules, there are special rules for when you are dealt two cards of the same value (such as 10, Queen or 9, 9 or 5, 5). There are also special rules for when your hand includes an Ace (such as Ace, 5 or Ace, 2). To learn these special rules you would need to use a chart.
Blackjack Basic Strategy is quite simple to learn and will decrease the house’s advantage to less than 1% over the long run. Above was an introduction to Basic Strategy that should take the beginner only a few days to master. However, I highly recommend learning the special rules outlined in a basic strategy chart, because learning those rules is the only way to reduce the house advantage to less than 1% over the long run.
