H - Hear
Hear each note in your mind before you play it. Frederick Chopin (1810 - 1849) spent plenty of practice time playing each note of a piece of music slowly, so slowly in fact that it would be painful for anyone listening. But that’s what Chopin was doing - listening very carefully to every note. He was connecting to the music with deep listening to allow every note to resonate within him. Similarly, hearing each note in your mind before it is played and thinking about how to touch each key is important to playing thoughtfully and creatively.
E - Energize
Gather energy from the music by feeling the vibrations of each note as it is played.
A - Ask
What is the composer trying to communicate with this music?
R - Respond
Don’t hold back. Allow yourself to respond fully to the energy and spirit of the music as you play each note the way you imagine it should sound.
T - Tell the Story
Imagine you are telling an interesting story to your best friend. Infuse the telling of the story with your own personality. This is the magic that will bring the music to life.

With the rise of smart phones such as the iPhone and the upcoming Prada phone from LG, everyone and their brother is predicting the demise of the ringtone industry. They may have a point - after all, these devices double as MP3 players, and hence one’s entire music collection could be called upon to be used as a ringtone.
But let’s not sell ringtones too short, too quickly. If history is any indicator, these high tech gadgets are usually snapped up by the early adopters. Your average Joe and Josephine are not going to run out and drop half a grand on a Prada at the drop of a hat. No, the average cell phone user will be downloading ringtones for a long time to come - and of course they’ll be searching for free ringtones. The prices that providers can charge for ringtones will be forced to decline, of course, as the adoption of smart phones increase; so well undoubtedly see many sites popping up offering completely free ringtones to satisfy consumer demand. Bank on it.

More so in the music and clubbing industry, DJ’s are going to sites to download ringtones that have been introduced by their friends. We all know that word of mouth advertising is one of the most effective forms around. Companies should really spend more time on quality of products rather than expensive ads that mean nothing. Some of the biggest companies around spend next to nothing on advertising compared to their revenues. Take Google for example, have you ever seen Google sponsor a sporting event? They spend next to nothing on advertising.
The ringtone industry would be the complete opposite. Carriers like AT&T, Nextel, Sprint and Verizon all spend huge sums pushing customers to download ringtones, yet shouldn’t they be more concerned about offering a better product? Many are also trying to advertise on MySpace, and other MySpace music sites, but frankly, I believe they are wasting their time.

There are many different types of MP3 Player out in the market. How should you select the suits you the most? Do you know all the features.
First of all, there are a few different type of MP3, hard drive based, flash based or MP3/CD based. They all works differently.
If you like to have music all day long, hard drive MP3 player might be better for you because it offers you the largest amount of storage of music.
If you like to jog, run or exercise while listening to MP3 music. Flash based MP3 is the one for you because it is usually compact and small.

A rapper may also perform a capella without any accompaniment. Due to its increasing popularity, rapping has also been assimilated into other musical forms.”"
Rap serves as the voice of a community; it is a vehicle for expressing resentment and hardship, as individuals often don’t have access to mainstream media. Its history is allied with the defiant stance of its creators, who portray themselves within a subjugated context. Since sex and violence sell, there are artists who employ rap for monetary gains. However, critics who dismiss rap as offensive deny the voice of a community that may be offensive, in that they themselves feel slighted.
The early practitioners of rap were first- or second-generation Americans of Caribbean descent. Herc and Hollywood are accredited with introducing the Jamaican style of cutting and mixing into the musical culture of the Bronx. While he was cutting with two turntables, Herc would perform with the mic; his parties gained popularity and were often recorded; duplicate tapes flooded the Bronx, Brooklyn, and Manhattan, spawning similar acts. Among the new breed of DJs was Afrika Bambaataa, the first Black Muslim rapper. By using rock records, he took rap beyond black youth culture.
In 1979, the first rap records appeared: “King Tim III” and “Rapper’s Delight”. During the mid-1980s, rap moved from the fringes of hip-hop culture to the mainstream music industry, as white musicians embraced the new genre. In 1986, rap reached the Top 10 on the Billboard pop charts with “(You Gotta) Fight for Your Right (To Party!)” and “Walk This Way”. In the late 1980s, a segment of rap became politicized. Alongside political rap came gangsta rap, which glamorized the outlaw lifestyle. Today, however, rap has become eclectic and exhibits a capacity to draw from any musical form.
