Have you taken a look at other diners when you are eating out in public? Our society is becoming so casual that we are loosing many of our manners, especially table etiquette. My husband and I went out to a nice restaurant that is located on the lake that we live on. This is a resort area, but this restaurant has fine dining. There are candles on the tables, a wonderful wine list and a string quartet that entertains the diners. A few weeks ago we went there to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I could not believe the way others were dressed and how they acted.
My husband had on dress pants and a dress shirt. I wore a skirt with a silk blouse and jewelry. This is the attire that we have felt comfortable in at the restaurant in the past. We had reservations so we were seated immediately, even though there were several people waiting for tables. After we were seated I started looking at the other diners. At two different tables the men were sitting with baseball caps on. I told my husband that I could not believe that people no longer are concerned with table etiquette and good manners in general. We were discussing this when the waitress came over to take our order. She over hear our conversation. She is a woman in her mid fifties. She has been a waitress at this restaurant for over thirty years. She said that the lack of table etiquette and manners is at times unbearable. She said people talk with their mouths full, eat with their hands, and lean on the tables with their forearms as they eat.

The designer handbag exact replicas can often be found by paying attention to where it is being sold. For example, if you are on a web site that does not belong to the brand you are looking for,you have a reason to believe that you are getting a replica.

If you find yourself caught up in the recent boot craze, but think that these trendy boots are way out of touch with your wallet, there is something that you should know. Ugg boots, those oh-so-soft multi-hued boots made from pure Australian sheep skin are available at a discount, if you know where to look. The best place to begin checking for discount ugg boots is on the Internet. The Internet is a wonderful invention. With a good search engine and a few clicks of a button, you can locate just about anything on the Internet, even long-lost distant relatives you had hoped you would never see again. Just begin your search for discount ugg boots by typing an appropriate phrase into the search area. Faster than you can blink an eye, your computer screen will fill with pages upon pages of links you can click to start your search for your very own pair of these trendy boots. If you are looking for discount ugg boots have a look at the great deals here.
The most obvious place to begin your search for discount ugg boots, even without using a search engine, is to visit your favorite web auction site. There you can search for boots, or more specifically, ugg boots, or even more specifically, three-quarter length, tan ugg boots in size seven. Press a button, find a pair that matches your criteria and start naming your price. Before you know it, you will have at your doorstep your very own pair of size seven, tan, three-quarter length ugg boots. See that was not so hard!
Also available on the Internet are different types of shopping mall clubs which you can join by paying the stated membership fee. These types of clubs offer members the ability to purchase various items including clothing, home accessories and other consumables that are available through the particular virtual shopping mall program at a discount. The product lines that these types of virtual shopping malls carry typically include the types of items that one would expect to find in a normal shopping mall environment. So, search around for a shopping mall program which offers discount ugg boots, join the program, and shop around until you find the perfect pair. Who knows, you may just get hooked on the virtual shopping mall experience. Most credit cards are accepted!
The reality is that because this style of boot is just so popular and the product seems to literally fly off the shelf, discount ugg boots may be difficult to locate, even on the Internet. From a retailer’s point of view, it does not make good financial sense to discount the price of a product that is easily and continuously selling at full retail price. With the fall season in full swing and the holiday season right around the corner, this style of boot likely will continue its brisk selling pace making discounts difficult to locate.
Eventually, however, stores will begin to discount their prices in an effort to draw consumers into their stores and encourage them to make purchases. If you are patient and are willing to take time to research the Internet and other retail outlets, you will eventually be able to find a pair of discount ugg boots that fit your needs, and your feet and won’t cause too much damage to your wallet.
Just be aware that the market is quickly flooding with lower quality imitations of this boot style. You may find that some discount ugg boots are not made from pure Australian sheep skin. These boots will likely look pretty close to the real thing, but your feet will know the difference.

First Love’s Philosophy
by Percy B. ShelleyThe mountains mingle with the river,
And the rivers with the ocean;
The winds of heaven mix forever,
With a sweet emotion;
Nothing in the world is single;
All things by a law divine
In one another’s being mingle;–
Why not I with thine?
See! the mountains kiss high heaven,
And the waves clasp one another;
No sister flower would be forgiven,
If it disdained it’s brother;
And the sunlight clasps the earth,
And the moonbeams kiss the sea;–
What are all these kissings worth,
If thou kiss not me?
What Love’s Philosophy Means To Me…
These kinds of short romantic love poems capture the magical time when love’s promise is just outside our reach. We are falling in love and nothing feels better and gives more hope!
I love to read ” Love’s Philosophy” out loud, and hear my own voice in which I can inject feelings and emotions — it seems to bring the poem to life!
It brings two worlds together - my experience and love of nature and the dawn of new love in my heart.
It takes me away to the thousands of miles I have hiked over alpine meadows, paddled torrent rivers and sailed over open seas. How many countless stary nights have I slept under? What thanks can I give to the moonbeams lighting my way on midnight runs through the Teton mountains?
When I read ” Love’s Philosophy” I know that Shelly is thanking God for me!
To see this union and mingle of all things in the eyes of my beloved, to feel her warmth and loving gaze is something that ” Love’s Philosophy” is point to.
I can not help, but take delight in such a union I feel as though I am joined with the spirit that flows through all things.
This is the gift of living with love. Peace and harmony. I call it happiness. To share it with someone you love is abolute divine. The keep it sacred and cherished is called humanity.
Romantic love poems are timeless, and transcend cultural barriers. They are like sunsets and sunrises.
They can be read over and over and still the magic lives in even greater glory.
It does not matter if you enjoy reading or writing poems of love, just enjoy them and share the joy!
Warm Regards

Although it may seem hard to believe, weddings are becoming more expensive each year; the average cost of a wedding today is 20 to 25 thousand dollars with an industry estimated at 25.3 billion dollars per year. It is understandable that many couples feel pressured into spending money they do not have but it really isn’t necessary; you can still have a wonderful day even though it might be a cheap wedding although you might not be convinced yet!
Low Cost Contemporary Wedding Invitations
Other areas where you can be assured of saving money is wedding invitations and other stationery; today’s home computers and printers are able to provide near professional results. With sophisticated customization tools you’ll be able to enter your own text and preview it before you print; so as not to make any costly mistakes, all from the benefit of your probably underused PC.

Wedding favors are one of the more interesting aspects of planning a wedding but often left a little late in the preparations. Ideas for treats are generally plentiful so there are bound to be enough to suit your budget and taste. There is no longer any need to get stressed about what favors you intend to use with the large range it should make your decision easier and take less time.
If all other options fail you can always choose the easy wedding favor of flowers which can also decorate the reception at the same time. The preparation for flowers is almost non existent other than deciding on what flowers to use which can be ordered reasonably close to the big day.

Hey, it’s the new millennium and you’ve been working hard at your career for a number of years, but you haven’t taken the time to really make yourself a home. Why not? Don’t wait for a better half, a mate, or a spouse–just do it for you. And don’t wait till you buy a house, an apartment, condo, even a tent. All qualify as home spaces worthy of decorating. If you live there, it counts. You deserve it!
You’ll also get to entertain in style rather than always complaining that your place isn’t done or ready. (Didn’t think anybody heard that, did you?!) Get going now on making your home the haven you have dreamed of. The best part is it is all for you, and you can do it any way you want! Design and decorating is a valuable process of self discovery, and it is through working on your home’s interiors that you will really find yourself, establish your priorities, and create the lifestyle you want. In part 1 of this 2 part series you’ll learn the first 5 simple, yet valuable steps for creating a comfortable, inviting nest for yourself.
1. Create a road map. Tour each room in your house and make a list of the pieces you think you will need to complete each space. This list is general. For example, in a bedroom you might have listed: a king sized bed, two nightstands, a dresser, an armoire (for TV), artwork, greenery and lamps. This is just a guideline of what you will need. Don’t get bogged down in details and how each piece will look. That comes later. Do this for each room, including the bathrooms, and be sure to note any changes you want to make in finishes like tile, countertops, hardware and such.
2. Establish an idea file. Go through current design and decorating publications and catalogues (online print outs are good too) and tear out pictures of rooms you like the feeling of, pieces of furniture you like, and even rugs and artwork you enjoy. In the case of individual pieces, be sure to circle the pieces in question, as when you return to the file, you may forget what it is you liked. File these by room either in a three ring binder with dividers for each room or an accordion file with a separate pocket for each space. Don’t save entire magazines– it takes up too much room and much too much time to go back through to find what you liked. Be sure to review your wish files regularly as you are likely to change your mind a few times, and the next favorite can always be right around the corner. Don’t worry about being “all over the board.” In the next step you’ll want to consider getting some professional guidance, and the right expert will be able to find the common theme in your files.
3. Now it’s time to investigate some professional expertise. Unless this is truly your talent and you have the time, it will save you both time and money to hire a designer or decorator for at least a consultation to guide and direct you in the process of furnishing your home. Designers all work differently, so ask–don’t assume. Many will do consultations. Be sure it is someone you are comfortable with, have reviewed their portfolio and checked references. They are there to work with you, educate you in the options available, and make professional recommendations. They should never intimidate or insult you. The best places to find such a professional are by referral from friends, an online web search reviewing their websites, or contacting a favorite you saw published. A designer or decorator can also help you establish a realistic spending plan and steer you to appropriate resources if you want to embark on this process solo. Remember this is moveable money and flexible investment. If you buy it right the first time, you won’t waste time and money on a replacement later. It moves with you, so you aren’t doing this all over again, unless you want to!
4. With some of the critical homework behind you, you are ready to start the process of decorating your home. In each room start either at the top with artwork as inspiration or at the bottom with a rug as “artwork for the floor.” It is much simpler to start at either the top or bottom of a room than in the middle. This is not an Oreo cookie, but your house! The artwork or rug will act as a guideline on the colors and mood you are creating. You are the constant, so generally speaking there will be a consistency and continuity in your selections. Remember a pro can always be part of the process in guiding, translating, and delivering your vision.
5. Select major pieces of furniture. In a bedroom this is the bed, dresser and armoire. In a great room it is the sofa and chairs. Upholstery always comes first in these spaces, and in a bedroom that means the bedding. If you keep your main pieces simpler and quieter (not boring) you are less likely to tire of them, and they will not get dated as quickly. In other words, on a sofa, a textured chenille fabric in a loden green, or muted taupe, or even rich persimmon will age better than a vivid plaid, or cheerful large floral. Confine your patterns and vivid visuals to accent pieces that you can change out.
Some of you men out there are going to be inclined to go leather all the way. Don’t! One piece is enough. It is an important consideration and part of your plan to mix your materials. Get a balance of soft vs. hard, slick vs. textured, shiny vs. matte finish, smooth vs. nubby. The more texture, the less dirt, wear and soil will show. Go for timeless and classic, and you can update seasonally. Be open to a variety of textiles, cotton prints, linens, chenilles, tapestries, damasks, leather and woven fabrics. Variety will also make it look like you have created this over time, creating a collected feeling instead of the room in a box look.
In these first 5 steps we’ve laid the groundwork for creating a unique home that you’ll feel proud to entertain in and that you’ll feel comfortable relaxing in when it’s just you at home. Remember, it doesn’t matter if you’re living in a rented apartment or if you own your own house, your own personal space is a reflection of who you are. In part 2 of this series, we’ll cover the final 5 steps you need to take so that you can make where ever you live feel like home.

Before we know it, the shopping season will be upon us. And,
just like Santa’s little elves will be working feverishly, we’ve
got to get busy saving up our cash for Christmas. The
alternative could be to watch helplessly as our credit card
balances increase.
But is it really possible to have a Christmas without using our
credit card? Absolutely! It isn’t hard — it’s just a matter of
getting started now! Here are these 3 simple steps to begin …
Step 1: Determine exactly how much cash you will need.
How much do you normally spend for Christmas gifts and goodies?
Be sure to add in special food expenses to your total, if you’re
providing the main holiday meal(s) or responsible for a large
portion of it. Not sure? Do a guesstimate, erring on the plus
side to be safe.
Step 2: Using your total from above, determine how much you’ll
need to save daily or weekly. Divide it by the number of weeks
or days left to save up money.
Examples: (These are approximate amounts.)
$500 divided by 15 weeks = $34.00 wk $300 divided by 15 weeks =
$20.00 wk $400 divided by 107 days = $ 3.75 day $200 divided by
107 days = $1.90 day
Step 3: Choose your Method(s) to begin Saving
Pull out your old favorites, and get going! Listed below are a
few ideas to get you started.
Gift Certificates are Not Just for Others …
Buy a gift certificate each pay period. When you’re ready to
shop, use your certificate to pay for the items. Be sure to
watch for expiration dates.
Marlene, a good friend of mine, does this year round. She then
buys items as they come on sale, using her certificates. Marlene
is a single mother who has found a way to buy gifts for her
children without using credit cards or draining money from the
checkbook.
Christmas Account
There’s still time to open a Christmas account with your local
credit union or bank. Make automatic payroll deposits if you
can. If not, write yourself a check each pay period and mail it
in to your account. If you cash your paycheck, take out your
targeted amount and deposit the money before it gets spent.
Remember, too, once this account is open, you can make small
deposits year round, eliminating the Christmas Crunch next year.
Pick up Some Extra Work Hours
Many businesses will need extra help as the holidays arrive. You
may be able to pick up some extra hours. Be sure to set aside
any money saved so it doesn’t slip through a hole in your
pocket!
$1 Per Day Keeps the Creditors Away
Don’t forget the ‘Tuck $1-Per-Day-Into-an-Old Sock’ method. If
you have 110 days left, you’d have around $110 at $1 per day.
Tucking away $2 per day will find you $220. $330 for $3 per day.
Re-think Buying Gifts This Year
Have you had a rough year financially? Do you owe on credit
cards? Consider not buying gifts this year. What if you were to
save up money as if you were buying gifts, but use it instead to
pay extra on your debt? Can you think of a better gift for your
family? You’ll be surprised how much better you’ll feel giving
down the road, when you can truly afford it.
Get creative. Imagine that you had no job. What would you do for
gifts? Would you make your own? Send cards only? Email cards?
Brainstorm some unique alternatives.
Remember the Spirit of the Season
Above all, remember the original intent of the holiday
celebrations. The spirit of the season can be lost in the newly
added debt and additional stress created by copying what the
Joneses next door are doing. Prevent future stress by learning
to celebrate without using your credit card. It can actually be
heaps of fun!
Now get started, and set your strategy in place so you’ll be
ready and able to pay upfront for next year’s holiday, too!
