This week I have been investigating the collective world of Beswick Collectables. This is a huge area spanning over 100 years of professional ceramics manufacture and should not be taken lightly. They started out with just plates and shiz but ended up making over 1000 different figurines from ziggy the lion to elliot the emu.
Beswick Ceramic Figurines are very popular amongst old people, considered to be due to their comedic faces and poses, inspiring a smile in even the oldest of human. Thier horse ceramic figurines provide human charectoristics in a horse form and are always worth a few quid. I would highly recommend that you check out the Beswick collectables, they are great fun!

For years tractors have been improving, with hugely more efficient engines being produced year in year out. This creates a similar deficit of second hand tractors in the available market. In wale’s tractor and plant garages are almost as common as car garages and car dealerships. You might drive down the road and see a renault dealership with loads of used renault espace’s, modus’s etc. then carrying on you may see a honda garage with 10 odd honda civic’s from the last decade littering the front car lot.
Then chances are you will see a plant hire/ used tractor / trailer seller - they are common place. Just an observation but the sheer amount of tractor sellers is staggering. Let it never be said farming is dead!
Personally I like the Ford 4000’s - they are great tractors that last well - good solid diesel engines that will plough push and pull thier way through the years like pigs in mud.

Used cars are better when brought locally
A survey has just been released detailing the buying tendancies of the public in the UK with regards to used cars (second hand motors.) The survey asked a small group of 20000 car buyers how far they travelled to buy their vehicle (this survey was based on used cars), whether the travel was worth the saving and how they would choose to buy next time.
The overall concesus of the participants was that buying a car as locally as possible, where possible is the better way to get a used car. The survey covered West wales and mid England and was carried out by a third party organisation. The results show that travelling up to 10 miles to buy a 2nd hand car was optimum. It was also noted that long distance advertisements were actually counter intuitive to a quick successful sale. A great point to keep it all local, saving money time effort and the environment – relatively speaking if you intend to buy a used car – buy it locally!
