How many times have you driven to work in your used car - 50? 500? 5000? If you work chances are you have a used car and chances are you drive to work in your used car every day. Repetitive journeys, congestion because of poor road systems and your old used car having mechanical issues all make the journey more irratating.
Mr.Scientist recommends you get an electric car, cheap efficient - but just as bloddy slow! effectively taking longer to get to work, and shifting the gear of frustration from the used car cog to the slow electric cheap boring car cog. Not worth the money on aa batteries.
So I suggest either buying a newer, more efficient car, or a newer used car - something that has a bit better efficiency than your used petrol motor - something diesel perhaps - a 1.9tdi? That would get you to work cheaply, and perhaps a rocket launcher to help move some of that pesky traffic?

There are many possible causes of lower back pain from muscle strain or spasms to sprains of the ligaments, joint problems or slipped disk (herniated/degenerated disk). But while there is no definitive reason as to why four out of five people develop lower back pain, there are definite steps that you can take to provide lower back pain relief.
Rest Your Back
Most healthcare professionals and therapists suggest bed rest as the first step in providing lower back pain relief. But take note that this method should only be done for two days and no longer. The reason is that prolonged inactivity due to extended bed rest may cause secondary complications, such as depression, muscular atrophy, weakness, and other conditions, to arise.
To achieve lower back pain relief, the best position is to lie on your back on the floor. Place pillows under your knees so that your hips and knees are slightly bent. Another way of resting your back for low back pain relief is to prop your feet on a chair. Place the pillows on the seat of the chair and place the back of your legs over it with your back flat on the floor.
Both these positions will help take weight and pressure off your back, thus providing lower back pain relief.
Heating Pads and Ice Packs
Following trauma, the person should apply an ice pack or compress over the injured area. Do this for up to 20 minutes several times every day. If you still do not achieve lower back pain relief after two to three days of cold treatment, use a heat pack. This will help relax the muscles and increase blood flow, speeding up recovery.
Medications
A variety of nonprescription drugs that provide lower back pain relief are available in most drug stores. These drugs include analgesics or pain killers, anti-inflammatory and swelling, such as aspirin, acetaminophen (Tylenol), naproxen (Aleve), ketoprofen (Orudis), and ibuprofen (Motrin).
Sit Properly
One of the many causes of lower back pain is improper posture. In order to provide lower back pain relief, sit properly in chairs with straight backs or have a lower back support. To take the weight off your back, keep your knees a little higher than your hips by resting your feet on a low stool for instance or adjusting the seat. And when you turn, move your whole body instead of twisting your waist.
Lower back pain relief may also be achieved even while driving. Sit straight and move the car seat forward. This will provide lower back pain relief by removing the necessity of leaning forward in order to reach the controls. A rolled up towel or a pillow placed behind your lower back may also provide lower back pain relief.

Finding a breaker for a damaged repairable vauxhall vectra has been a struggle. Mainly because I am after a whole left wing - which seems to always get pelted on vauxhall vectras.
So I am now using the internet to seek a vauxhall damaged repairable vectra. I will visit a salvage or car dismantler within 40 miles of Cardiff. I need the parts because my wife idly scraped along a very harsh wall and as a result took half the car off and left it in lampeter. I would also like to find a panel beater that works around lampeter to fit the new bodywork (provided I find a damaged repairable car for sale locally.) Today I used an elliptical crosstrainer for the first time. I hate cardio of any kind. I like lifting weights, period. I despise running. But, lifting weights alone just isn’t cutting it anymore. I’m carrying a gut and I just can’t seem to get rid of it. So, I decided to suck it up and get on one of those elliptical crosstrainer machines. And, you know what, it wasn’t that bad. It was weird at first. But, once I broke a sweat I was in a little groove. I burned a good 300 extra calories. I don’t like the idea of going to the gym just to do cardio. So, I think I’m going to buy a machine for the house. I’m thinking of the BodyCraft Elliptical Crosstrainer ECT-2100

Okay, so lately I’ve been going to my gym and I have really been getting into using the Power Rack. I don’t know, I have seen it there for about all these years, but honestly I just never got into using it. But, lately I have. And you know what? I like it! There is just something about it. I’m able to do a little bit more weight without a spotter. For example, what I do is put a set of pins in the power rack slightly above my head level. What that does is it allows me to try and squeeze out an extra rep because if I can’t get it up I just need to get it up a little bit and swing it over to the lower pins. I know you can do the same thing on some weight benches. But my gym has benches that only have the ability to put the weight all the way back up to the original level, not a lower level. Anyhow, I seem to like the ability to basically do all my, or most of my, free weight workout at the Power Rack Station. Anyhow, I’m going to buy one. I one called the Body Craft Power Rack. It seems like a good value in case anyone in interested.
