How Sharing Romantic Love Poems Will Change The World

First Love’s Philosophy

by Percy B. ShelleyThe mountains mingle with the river,
And the rivers with the ocean;

The winds of heaven mix forever,
With a sweet emotion;

Nothing in the world is single;
All things by a law divine

In one another’s being mingle;–
Why not I with thine?

See! the mountains kiss high heaven,
And the waves clasp one another;

No sister flower would be forgiven,
If it disdained it’s brother;

And the sunlight clasps the earth,

And the moonbeams kiss the sea;–
What are all these kissings worth,
If thou kiss not me?

What Love’s Philosophy Means To Me…

These kinds of short romantic love poems capture the magical time when love’s promise is just outside our reach. We are falling in love and nothing feels better and gives more hope!

I love to read ” Love’s Philosophy” out loud, and hear my own voice in which I can inject feelings and emotions — it seems to bring the poem to life!

It brings two worlds together - my experience and love of nature and the dawn of new love in my heart.

It takes me away to the thousands of miles I have hiked over alpine meadows, paddled torrent rivers and sailed over open seas. How many countless stary nights have I slept under? What thanks can I give to the moonbeams lighting my way on midnight runs through the Teton mountains?

When I read ” Love’s Philosophy” I know that Shelly is thanking God for me!

To see this union and mingle of all things in the eyes of my beloved, to feel her warmth and loving gaze is something that ” Love’s Philosophy” is point to.

I can not help, but take delight in such a union I feel as though I am joined with the spirit that flows through all things.

This is the gift of living with love. Peace and harmony. I call it happiness. To share it with someone you love is abolute divine. The keep it sacred and cherished is called humanity.

Romantic love poems are timeless, and transcend cultural barriers. They are like sunsets and sunrises.

They can be read over and over and still the magic lives in even greater glory.

It does not matter if you enjoy reading or writing poems of love, just enjoy them and share the joy!

Warm Regards

Reflecting on the History of Women

I’ve made a conscience effort to truly contemplate and study the
story of women this month since it is nationally recognized as
Women’s History Month. I expanded my studies beyond just the
recent feminist history, which in my opinion is a definite
highlight of our history to this point, to include our history
since the start of written record.

However, this was not as easy as it would seem since the vast
majority of surviving records are his-story and are very short
on the details of her-story. In an attempt to keep women “in
their place,” those who have followed the Judeo-Christian
religions destroyed most records of the significance of women in
early history. This is clearly seen in the Bible when numerous
times the Jews are told to “completely destroy the nations” who
worshiped these other gods, of which many were actually
goddesses.

It’s significant, I think, that at one point in history females
shared the title of divinity with males - and at times reigned
as the sole divinity. This part of our history shows woman in
all her glory, not as the fallen creature of the Bible who must
forever submit to a subservient position to the man because she
supposedly ate a forbidden fruit and coerced him to do the same.

It’s time the truth was known. Not the presupposed “truth”
garnered from what we have always been told is reality. That
reality is severely lacking in the other half of the story. We
see reality as we have always been taught to see it. If someone
teaches me from young that a certain color is blue, and
subsequently others then reinforce that teaching in my family,
community, church, government, school, etc. - then I will
believe the color is actually blue.

But what if they are all wrong? What if blue is really yellow
but no one wants to challenge the errant teaching because the
one who said it was blue in the first place claimed to be
speaking on behalf of God? In the end though, just because
everyone believes this color to blue does not make it indeed
blue. In fact, it is still yellow.

That is exactly what has happened in feminine history. Only this
teaching has gone so long without being challenged, for fear of
being ostracized or even at times killed, that it is now
accepted as truth. In the process the real truth has been lost.

What is the real truth? What is reality? The truth is that “in
the beginning” woman was indeed equal to man. She was just as
intelligent. She was just as capable of dealing with life’s
hardships. She was man’s partner, not his property or his slave.
It wasn’t until she was denied basic human rights that she was
demoted from equality and it wasn’t until she was denied an
equal education that her intelligence was called into question.

What is the truth? The truth is that we have been taught that
yellow is actually blue. We have been force fed a lie to the
point we have hung our heads in original-sin guilt and accepted
our plight as second rate citizens - as long as men have granted
us at least that much. However, if that is all the fight we have
left in us, our future will look much like our past.

We are at a significant point in history. For the last century,
women in America have paved the road for us to work outside the
house, vote, and even have equal legal rights with a man in the
court system. Don’t take this for granted ladies, these are
rights we did not have just a few short decades ago. And just as
quickly as these rights emerged after thousands of years of
degradation, they can slip back into oblivion with just a few
court decisions.

Men have always been the ones to govern, but now we have that
privilege too. Yes, at this point it is still a privilege we
have been granted and can loose if we don’t take advantage of it
by being active in governance and the voting process.

Our history is veiled and our present is fragile at best. Let’s
make our future and our daughter’s future strong. Let’s equip
them with a history worth telling and a mentality of true
equality by finally standing against that old lie and teaching
them the real truth.

The Latest Trends In Men’s Hairstyles

Today’s man hair style can be either long and textured or super short and tight and still be considered trendy and at the height of fashion. Some men’s hair styles require gel, mousse or pomade while others don’t even need to be combed. The truth is that now more than ever there are numerous ways to achieve a stylish and trendy man hair cut. That means that there are a lot of different styles for men who are looking for the perfect man hair style to choose from.

While the man’s hair style is less rigid than it was in the 80s and requires a lot less goo to accomplish, the modern man hair cut is still best served by a little styling. No, you do not need to spend hours in front of the mirror coaxing every strand into place, but a little gel never hurt any man’s hair style that I know of.

Here are just a few of the latest trends in men’s hair styles and how to style them:

Super short man’s hair style. High and Tight, Fade, Spike, Clipper Cut and Crew Cut are just a few of the names given to the short man’s hair cut. By far the most popular man’s hair style is the High and Tight or Fade. Characterized by a closely cropped clipper cut around the sides and back of the head with just enough hair on top of the head to comb, this man’s hair style with its many variations accounts for about 75 percent of all popular styles today. With just a little bit of gel to spike up the top, mess it up a little or finger into place, this man’s hair style will only take you seconds to achieve. While you may have to get it cut more often, about every three weeks or so, the ease of styling this man hair cut is what makes it a favorite among busy men today.

Medium length, textured men’s hair style. Today’s styles for men have a lot of texture and the same is true for medium-length styles (about 3 to 4 inches). These styles resemble the classic man hair cut of the past, but step it up a notch by using extreme texture and color to bring it all together. Most styles use a great deal of razoring and texturizing with notching scissors. To style this man’s hair style pomade usually works best. Work product through dry hair and finger into place.

Long man’s hair style. While most men do not wear their hair down their back anymore, the long man’s hair style has made a somewhat shorter comeback. Perhaps the most recognizable example that I can give of this men’s hair style is Ashton Kutcher. Long, textured and disheveled, this man hair cut is gaining widespread popularity. Again, this man’s hair cut requires a lot of texture and works best with pomade.

As you can see from these few examples, the man’s hair style is far from boring. Gone are the days of cookie-cutter barber shop man hair cut. Here to stay is the trendy and styled cuts of today.

Tips To Help Pregnant Women Reduce Morning Sickness.

The dreaded ‘morning sickness’, extreme nausea and vomiting,
will affect around 90% of pregnant women. Despite the name,
morning sickness can strike at any time of day, so if you get
through the early morning without feeling nauseous, it may get
you later in the day! Just why women have to go through this is
not known - maybe because men haven’t bothered to find out!
However, there are some things you can do to minimise this
unpleasant part of pregnancy.

1. Ask your medical advisor whether you can take vitamin B6. A
dose of approximately 100 mg per day has been shown to reduce
the feeling of nausea.

2. Eat foods rich in the B vitamins: examples are nuts, chicken,
fish, liver and advocados.

3. Take frequent sips of liquids such as water, soup, tea, and
lemonade. This can help in several ways: when you vomit you
loose a lot of fluids and it is important to keep your body
hyderated at all times. It also makes vomiting less unpleasant
if you have something to bring up. Vomiting when the stomach is
empty is even more unpleasant than when you have something to
bring up.

4. Avoid foods with strong smells such as spicy or fried foods
as such dishes can make you feel queasy and induce vomiting.

5. Snack little and often. When you go to bed place biscuits or
muffins at your bedside and nibble these if you wake in the
night.

6. Foods high in carbohydrates are more likely to stay down and
will ward off hunger. Recommended foods are breads, rice and
pasta.

7. If you don’t feel like eating, don’t. If eating will make you
feel queasy and cause you to vomit, there is no point. You will
not benefit nutritionally if the food comes straight back up.

Morning sickness is the least enjoyable part of being pregnant.
How long it lasts varies from women to women. Just keep
reminding yourself that it will end.

The Right Time To Kiss Your Date

Some men may not know or do not have the slightest idea if
a woman is ready to be kissed. These men may be sitting
beside their dates talking too much they suddenly realize
how the lips of their dates are so kissable.

Their imagination will then take control, but this would
also mean disaster if done wrong. This may often leave
these men without a second chance for another date with the
woman.

If a guy finds himself talking to a girl and wondering if
she’s ready to be kissed, he may softly touch her hair and
give a compliment about it.

If the girl shows a favorable reaction, this may be a sign
of getting closer to a kiss. Get closer and try reaching
for her hair again.

Touch the hair tips and simply gaze on her lips and eyes.
The fact that she does not mind about you getting closer to
her is a sign that she is comfortable. This is a sign for a
guy to go and kiss the girl.

Some guys try to go out on an adventurous date in order to
make the kissing move more suave and natural. One
particular example is a guy who usually takes a girl to a
small boat ride on a river.

Upon sailing along the river, he happens to direct the boat
to a place covered with trees and fireflies - truly a
romantic place to kiss.

A guy can also take her date to some ancient ruins in a
local spot and manage to spend time walking until dark.
These ruins usually light up at night.

The guy can take his date to the top of the ruins where
they can see the city all beautifully lit up. This is when
the guy should make a move and kiss his date.

Some Common Myths That Keep Women from Weight Training

Weight training has long been known to improve health, improve
strength, step up vigor, and improve the physique. Men have been
taking advantage of this fact for many years now, but many women
have avoided weight training and continue to do so because they
see it as a masculine thing meant to bulk up muscle.

Many women have abstained from training with weights because of
some misconceptions associated with women and weight training.
If you have never given any thought to working out with weights
before, it is probably because one or more of the common myths
about women’s weight training is stopping you.

Let’s take a look at some of these myths and let’s find out just
what the real truth is and why you should not let them stop you
from taking advantage of all the benefits weight training has to
offer.

One common myth is that some women think they are too old to
work with weights. The truth is you are never too old to be able
to strengthen and tone your muscles. By using lighter weights
and a relatively low intensity program you can still benefit
from weight training. It has been proven through studies that
people as old as 80 and even 90 who started weight training saw
up to a 200% increase in strength over a one month period.

Another common myth is that some women think they will lose
their flexibility with weight training. The truth here is that
weight training will actually help you to become more flexible.
By doing weight training exercises through a full range of
motion your muscles are put into a stretch with each repetition
and by strengthening them, they are less prone to injury while
doing stretching exercises.

This next myth is probably the most common one by far. Many
women think that if they lift weights they will develop big
muscles and look bulky and unfeminine. Nothing can be further
from the truth! The fact is, women don’t have near enough of the
male hormone testosterone, and testosterone is the major growth
hormone that will produce bulky muscles. Unless women use
supplemental means like steroids and growth hormone, they cannot
bulk up like men. Weight training will get you firm and toned
but by no means will it make you look manly.

One myth that is fairly common is that some women think that
weight training is just boring and tedious. The truth is that
weight training can be done with a friend, and you can make each
other laugh as well as help keep each other on track. You can
listen to music as you exercise. You can mix different exercises
into your routine and change up your routine from time to time.
You will also find that as your strength and your body are
improving, you will feel so much better about it all. When you
reach a certain goal, give yourself a reward like eating out in
a fancy restaurant or taking a weekend vacation somewhere nice.

Now that you know the truth to some of the myths that have been
stopping you from enjoying the many benefits of weight training,
there is no reason for you not to make it a part of you exercise
regimen. Weight training is no longer strictly for men only. So
get up, get to the weights, and get fit for life.

Menopause and Estrogen

As we age, is the loss of estrogens what causes the onset of peri-menopause and finally, menopause? For women, menopause is a direct result of the loss of estrogens in the female anatomy. The E, as it is called in medical circles, is a group of female hormones produced in the ovaries. These female hormones are responsible for regulating the function of reproduction in the female body. Estrogens determine a woman’s body shape by distributing fat to different areas of the body, aid in the development of the uterus, and construct tissues in the brain and bones. Safe levels of estrogens in the body help maintain proper blood flow, control cholesterol levels, and act as an antioxidant filtering harmful chemicals from the body.

Menopause is known as the final phase of menstruation. As a result of aging, fewer eggs are produced. When menopause arrives, the ovaries stop producing estrogen altogether. Instead they produce minute amounts of testosterone (a male hormone) which is stored in body fat. A loss of estrogen contributes to stopping the female anatomy’s daily routine of maintaining homeostasis (holistic balance in the body) and has effects on the brain as well. Studies have shown that estrogen helps improve blood flow to the brain and prevents Alzheimer disease by blocking the production of chemicals contributing to it. It also increases the level of serotonin - a chemical in the brain known to improve mood. As you can see, losing estrogen can have a profound effect to a woman’s mental and, as a result, emotional balance.

Estrogen is not the name of one hormone, but the name of three special female hormones that unite to form one. They are known as E1, E2 and E3. E1, the first set of estrogen hormones in the series, is also known as estrone and is the primary source of estrogen in the body. E2 (or estradiol) is the most important estrogen developed by the ovaries and E3 (estriol) are special estrogens that are produced during pregnancy when high levels are present. During menopause, E1, E2, and E3 are all affected, and after its aftermath, low levels of estrone is the only source of estrogen remaining in the female body. It is important to note that this female hormone serves a helping function as well, transporting vital enzymes throughout the system, maintaining positive levels of cholesterol, and sparking calcium activity.

Post menopause brings even lower levels of estrogen in the body. This officially marks the end of monthly periods, the malfunctioning of ovaries, and the ability to reproduce. Since the ovaries stop producing estrogen and progesterone at the same levels it used to, having a child is nearly impossible. During this full transition, periods can also be affected. This loss of estrogen can cause irregular periods for some women, often with a lighter flow. It can also causes emotional problems like depression and aggression toward people for no ‘apparent’ reason. As stated before, a lack of this hormone means you lose balance.

In retrospect, estrogen loss is directly responsible for the on-set of menopause. When the woman has her last menstrual cycle, it is a marker for a new chapter in her life. She learns to accept that child bearing is no longer an option, although possible in extreme cases as some women continue to ovulate during this transition In time, we come to understand how this change is a necessary part of life and how we can renew ourselves and begin our new phase.

Create Your Own Local Cable Women in Business Program

You’re probably thinking that you will never have a cable
business program. Anything is possible if you are creative and
aggressive enough to go after your PR dreams. One of the first
things that I instruct clients who use my PR makeover service to
do is package their products and service to enhance their PR
appeal. Wouldn’t it be great if you could package yours into a
business program that is featured on your local cable station?
Well today we are going to outline the format for a women in
business cable program.

You have to decide if it is going to be a talk, makeover, or
news style program. The style of the program should reflect your
PR goals and communication strengths. If your business solves a
problem, then a makeover program would be perfect for you. If
you are skilled at getting people to open up to you, then use a
talk program format. The news format is perfect for women who
are extremely organized and adept at doing research.

Once you’ve decided on the program style, work on your concept.
Your new program must capture the audience’s attention. Will
your news program report about on the online women in business
market? Will your makeover program show women how to give their
web sites a professional look? Will your talk program feature
women who own sites hosted by you? How long will be the program
be? Will it be a daily, weekly, or monthly program?

Location is everything! It sets the mood for your program. Do
you plan on using a studio, your home, or local places to tape
your program. It all depends on the image that you want to
project. A formal business look can be achieved by taping in a
studio. Taping from your home office maximizes the image of
running a successful online home-based business. Using a
different locale for each show enhances the appeal of a fun
business program. All three location choices are perfect for any
of the program styles.

So far I’ve covered your program style, concept and location.
Now it is time to work on your content. Content is queen! You
can have the best style, concept, and location and still have a
bad program if your content is dull. Outline your debut show.
Keep in mind that your program must feature your products and
services. Jot down what is different and exciting about them.
Ask yourself how you can fit them into the style of the program
to spotlight your business without it being too advertorial.

Background research is required to construct your content. Find
out what new trends on the Internet are important to the women
in business market. If your program is going to feature guests
that have web sites, incorporate their sites into the program to
make it interactive. The audience could contact you via email
while you are on the air to ask your guests questions. Get your
guests to provide your audience with a freebie or prizes that
they can only receive while your program is on the air. Just
make your content fun and exciting and you will keep your
audience from turning the channel.

Guests can make or break a program. Choose them carefully. They
can be owners of the most dynamic businesses and have dull
personalities. Your audience will turn the channel. Allow
prospective guests to send in their media kit. Interview them on
the phone. Then meet with the more promising prospects in person
to make your final decision.

Now its time to give your business program a name. I decided to
wait until the end for this very important item to give you time
to fully develop the vision for your business program. This is
where vanity or creativity comes into play. It’s your program.
If your business name is suitable, use it. Name it after
yourself if you want to boost your personal business image. If
neither of these ideas appeals to you, then think of an original
name for your business program. Make it exciting by having a
contest to find a name for your program to stir up interest.

These are just a few of things to think about if you ever decide
to create your own cable women in business program. Wardrobe,
makeup, sponsors, camera crew, etc. must also be addressed. Next
month I will discuss how to promote your new business program.
