This is dave lawson writing from somewhere just north of manchester - I have to say I really love this new system I have had rigged up to my DAF lorry, it lets me type by talking into a mic placed in front of my steering wheel - pretty neat for a trucker eh? I had it installed by david jackson so as I could blog while driving my classic old truck around - and it works pretty damn well - 95% accurate id say - over the 98% it claims.
I found it when I was hunting through the car insurance group database looking which trucks are best when looking to cut down the money i blow each month on insurance. It has worked out I am saving £500 just by going 1 engine model down - man I am happy!

Cigars have long been associated with the rich and powerful, with relaxation and rich flavor. Cigar aficionados have created a culture around the art of smoking, assembling various theories and accessories to debate and facilitate smoking. Much like wine tasting, cigar smoking has been seen as a diversion of the upper echelons of society. It is believed that cigars were probably first produced in Spain, and then quickly caught on in other European countries. Although many different countries manufacture cigars, Cuban cigars have long been highly regarded as one of the most flavorful and rich of all cigars. This is due to regional microclimates that are said to produce the highest quality tobacco, as well as the skill of the country’s cigar makers. Other countries that produce significant amounts of tobacco and cigars include Brazil, Mexico, Honduras, Ecuador, Cameroon, Dominican Republic, Indonesia, and the United States. Why have cigars long caught the attention of so many? Many speculate that the cigar’s main attraction is in the way it is manufactured. High quality cigars are always wrapped by hand. Unlike cigarettes, cigars undergo a lengthy process of fermentation and aging (much like wine), resulting in subtle flavors and textures. They are highly individual and the best cigars will provide no smoky aftertaste at all.
The taste of cigars is much more complex than cigarettes. The majority of all cigars are created by wrapping three different layers of tobacco leaves together. High quality cigars usually contain long leaves of nicotine as the filler, although they may also contain a combination of scraps. This results in subtle variations, different textures, and complex flavors. Cigarettes, on the other hand, are mass-produced and generally only contain one type of tobacco. Cigars also come in an incredible variety of flavors. The dedicated cigar aficionado can find chocolate, vanilla, apple, and even coffee-flavored cigars!

This week I will mostly be looking at pink cars, not a topic I find myself all that knowledgeable in, certainly when it comes to pink cars for sale which adds another aspect to pink cars, that of buying and selling them. Its really all about getting a good deal in the beginning, because even if you have no accidents or your pink car doesn’t break down then you want to get good value for money and not waste time with a bad quality used pink car. So number one then - get a good quality used pink car, according to some feminists I was talking too stage two is all about your interior, getting some really good pink car accessories and filling your car with all things pink. Including music - disney songs and a solid pink stereo - one person i met even had a pink subwoofer, pretty mad!

It is a right annoyance. I have been searching the web high and low attempting to procure a decent quality used car in wales. Its almost like there is no such thing and I am chasing a crazy unrealistic car. I do live in carmarthenshire so, typically I start with an open ended search for a phrase like used cars carmarthenshire, which usually results in a few cool local sites but they haven’t as of yet had my favourite car on there - a vauxhall cavalier. They should have a load because the car was the most popular car of its time and sold infinately well. But then perhaps not many made it to wales? Would the awful welsh weather be something to do with it - perhaps they are just all rust buckets now.
Its not like I was searching for a Ferrari is it, that red stallion is something I certainly cant afford. So in the end I am left trawling the car web searching for a decent vauxhall for sale. I also checked a car/motoring site that had cars ceredigion in the name, even though it turned out to be a pretty awesome site it did not have a decent cavalier on it (had 2 but people were wanting to much cash for a car like that.) Suppose I will just settle for a better car then…

Whether its for a new tv, searching for a pit bike for sale, or just the weekly shop, everyone loves spending money. Money afterall appears to be what drives most humans these days, and the desire to spend more of it. Bigger flasher cars, nicer, bigger houses, more and more exotic holidays. We humans like to trade currency a lot.
When you haven’t got any money that’s when money matters most of all, there are a lot of homeless people in the uk - but will throwing money at that help? I mean providing them with an address to live at may get them back on their feet I suppose…

One area of maintenance that will make your Victory motorcycle, or any motorcycle, run like new is cleaning the Throttle body. I do mine every other oil change, and I am amazed at how much differance it makes. Many of you will look, and think that there is too little build up on the throttle bodies to worry about. However since the Victory motorcycle does not use an Idle Air Bypass. A little bit of maintenance of the throttle bodies goes a long way.
This may sound difficult, but is in fact pretty easy, and can easily be done in under an hour. The fun and time comes in removing the fuel tank and air cover to get at the throtle bodies.
Dissasembly
Remove both side covers.
Remove the 2 bolts that secure the seat.
Remove the cheese wedge on the rigt side.
Loosen the clamp on the top fuel line[behind cheese wedge] that comes from the rear. slide the line off. It will only dribble a few drops.
Remove the one rear, and two front side allen bolts that secure the tank.
Lift the rear of the tank a few inches with one hand. Use the other to unplug the electronic plug. Also note that the vent line[small black plastic hose] You will need a flat tip to bend the tab that it passes through. Just spread it enough to get the vent line up.
Lift the front of the tank, and remove the vent line.
Lift tank straight up
You will now be looking at the back bone and air box. On the top rear of the airbox you will see a cover that is screwed on with either philips or 8mm screws remove them, and the cover.
You will now be looking in at the air tubes. They are simply slid into place. So first remove the rear[some wiggleing will be necessary. Remove the front tube.
Well you finaly made it! You can now see the throttle plates. If you twist the throttle you will see a line of crud around the thottle bore, and on the plates.
I use a rod from a gun cleaning kit, and patches from the same kit for the cleaning. Spray carb cleaner on the patch an wipe away all the visible crud. Then use a dry rag to wipe away all the residue. As I said most of you will think you are wasting your time, But once it is back together. You are in for a surprise.
Reassembly is the reverse order, but make sure you re route the fuel line back to the fitting, and don’t forget to slide it on , and tighten the clamp.
With the key on cycle the kill switch 3 times to repressurise the fuel system. It may stumble a couple of seconds on restart, but don’t worry.
I usualy have to lower the idle 2-3 hundred RPM when I’m done. Idle should be 1000RPM + - 50. It is set by a screw on the left rear of the throttle body. The screw is gold in color, and requires a long philips to reach it.

With green house gases proving to be a slight problem for the world I think its time we opt for a more fun way to travel. Imagine every city worker went to work on a pit bike, now wouldn’t that be a fair bit more fun? People doing pit bike stunts while wearing a suit and holding a briefcase?
See small 125cc pitbikes are actually pretty harmless to the environment, they are fuel efficient and fun. I think everyone should stop moaning about green house gases and start focusing on the fun ways of combating them - screw trains, buses and cars - lets all get cool pit bikes. I mean the price should affect you also - with used pit bikes starting at £200 for a great model its hardly worth ignore this!!! lol!!!

Cars a great. 1.9tdi’s, 2 litre sports - fast cars, slow cars, efficient cars - I love cars. But you should too - think how far we can get by driving a car. One man (in the right car) could drive the whole way around the world and probably sell it on as a good used car. Heres 4 reasons why we should all love our cars and stop moaning about emmisions:
- Used Cars - Great value way of buying a car that’s nearly new, low mileage and cool.
- They come in smaller versions - Remote Control Cars are fun at a fraction of the price!
- Ceredigion Cars has a huge range of local cars for sale and will always be a great way to buy a new motor!
- Owning a car can be a great way to save money or spend it depending on the efficiency of your used car and when you brought it and where it was for sale!
Thats our quick run-down of reasons we should all <3 our cars!

I am buying a present for my nephew and cant decide whether to go for a pit bike or remote control car. With the pit bikes you get a lot more exercise out of the kid - e.g. its a much more active present that will keep him riding around everywhere, fixing it, carrying it, jumping it etc.
But the remote control car is safer - even if you get a petrol rc car I am fairly sure its classed as safer than buying a petrol pit bike for your kid. I mean they both use petrol so I suppose they are both a bit dangerous, but for a 10 year old what do you guys suggest? If I was ten I would go for the pit bike (can get them in black 125cc) but my kid is more into cars than bikes so do you think that’s a better idea?
