Historic 1906 Zust stops in Lisbon

According to Carl O’Connor of Lisbon, who met the three with his wife, Beryl, great care was taken to ensure that the restoration was faithful to the original. The three visitors had been headed from their homes in Vancouver, B.C., to an auto show in the eastern United States. Auto restoration. After learning it was cancelled, they headed back on the route of the original race. Unbeknownst to the original racers, they were traveling the route that ultimately would become the Lincoln Highway. During the 10-year restoration of the Zust, they followed details from a journal created by the original owners, which were attested to by those involved.
