The city is profuse with the best of the best of everything - there are awesome bars, sensational clubs and places to eat that’ll keep you coming back for more every time. London is widely held to be one of the “gay” capitals of the world and is home to the biggest gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (GBLT) body in Europe.

Owing to the perennial ‘Soho Pride’, ‘Pride London’ & London’s Gay & Lesbian Film Festival - and probably several of the most stunning gay club nights you’ll find anywhere - there is always something to keep you entertained year round.

Several of the best bars right in the middle of London can be found in the acclaimed gay location of Soho. Soho is great since everywhere is within walking distance, it’s awake all night and you will constantly get bars open to keep you entertained till the early hours of the morning. ‘Profile’, a brilliant small bar off Old Compton Street (London’s ‘Gay’ street), is acclaimed for its amazing cocktails and surroundings. You have got ‘Friendly Society’ which is as genial as its name implies, you’ll find the drinks are slightly dear but it makes for a fascinating adventure - there is a fabulous rabble of people and the Disk Jockeys are just sensational.

Further exalted bars are Green Carnation, Bar Code, Freedom, The Edge, G-A-Y Bar, Village, Ku Bar, Candy Bar, The Yard and the more traditional Compton’s and Admiral Duncan, to single out a few.

Some of the finest locations are likewise the most famous spots. People couldn’t possibly have a night out in London if they’re visiting without stopping by G-A-Y, often described as the paradigmatic camp Mecca. Excellent music, awesome folk and low priced alcohol, - one hotspot for every gay in London to see! You also have Heaven, which is placed right off the Strand. Heaven is a little more dear but has a great atmosphere and has enough rooms to oblige every taste in melodies. There’s lots of info about London in Time Out.

Additional places include Soho Revue Bar & Shadow Lounge. The up and coming arena for more serious clubbers is a bit farther away in Vauxhall. Some first class night loving / after hours nights & bars include Area, Crash, Barcode Vauxhall and Fire along with special nights at Club Coliseum and the famed Vauxhall Tavern.
